Join Ben Doerr, Captain of Sail Bainbridge, and Amber Braxton, nature photographer and bird enthusiast, for a one-of-a-kind migratory bird watching adventure on the Puget Sound.

This immersive 6-hour journey will take us through the ever-changing waters of the Puget Sound, as we search for winter birds beginning their departure and spring migrants making their return. Each trip is guided by the rhythms of nature—no two excursions are ever the same.

What to Expect

  • A classic on-the-water experience led by an experienced local captain

  • Opportunities to observe and photograph migratory and resident bird species

  • Stunning views of the Seattle skyline, islands, and open water

  • Time: 8am-2pm

  • Bring your own lunch, snacks and water to drink

  • Bring Camera equipment (binoculars encouraged!)

  • Bring Weather-appropriate clothing (layers, rain gear recommended)

  • Space is limited to ensure an intimate, high-quality experience.
